Prospect Lefferts Gardens residents come together to tell their own stories about the neighborhood and listen to others. What better way to get to know the neighbors you've wondered about as you pass on the block? The story circle will be led by Deborah Mutnick, a professor of English at Long Island University's Brooklyn campus, who has facilitated storytelling and oral history projects in schools and communities since 2004.
Local poets and spoken word artists paint a picture of life in Brooklyn with words. Check back soon for a list of participating artists.
